The Right Tone: How to achieve it.
Aug 16th
Getting the right tone for your guitar is simple…
If you have a piano or a keyboard you will get the right standard tone without a sweat.
This is how to get the standard tone from keyboard, if you know a little about keyboard, this is how to get the right tone of the guitar:
- 6th String (lower “E” string) – Press lower “E” or lower “mi” in equivalent at notes in the piano/keyboard. With that, will get the right tone of the 6th string in the guitar. Treatments and drugs
Trigger finger treatment varies depending on its severity and duration. You should always remember to consult your doctor for appropriate diagnose and treatment of any ailment.
Treatment of mild cases
For mild or infrequent symptoms, these approaches may be effective:
- Ice for five to fifteen minutes at a time on the area which is most swollen and tender.
- Avoid activities which involve a sustained grip. Hold off on the use of grip strengthening devices or exercises involving repetitive squeezing – these put stress on the irritated tendon.
- If fingers bend and lock during the night and are painful to straighten in the morning, it may be helpful to wear a splint to keep them straight while sleeping. One way to do this is to use a wrist support splint as shown below: A wrist splint designed to be worn on the opposite hand may be worn with the forearm end turned out to form a palm sided support for the fingers. This may be helpful as an interim measure. Read the rest of this entry »

Trigger Finger (Flexor Tendinitis)
Sep 21st
Definition
Trigger finger is an irritation of the digital sheath which surrounds the flexor tendons. When the tendon sheath becomes thickened or swollen it pinches the tendon and prevents it from gliding smoothly. In some cases the tendon catches and then suddenly releases as though a “trigger” were released.
Trigger finger is a type of tendinitis which develops in the tendons which bend the fingers. It is a common problem because of the way that the hand is made, which may be a little different than you would suspect. There are no muscles in the fingers themselves. We actually move our fingers by remote control. Muscles in the forearm are connected to the finger bones by smooth, flexible strings, called tendons. The muscles pull on the tendons, which then bend the finger joints. Read the rest of this entry »
